Well, Plastered t-shirts is a company that we love. Taking design inspiration from all over China (30 year old pencil case covers found at market, men at work signs, Beijing apartment markers), Plastered also work very closely with the indie music scene in China. A mutually beneficial relationship sees Plastered allowing bands like PK14 to design a t-shirt in return for 50% of sales, which for us seems like a pretty logical win=win.
Anyway, Beijing’s great and good turned out to show their love. Yugong Yishan was slammed to watch a collection of bands from seriously up-and-coming (GBOB Beijing winners Rustie and a band we love, Bird Striking) to “almost mainstream” (Carsick Cars)- tickets were given away to students and friends.
