It’s typhoon season in Shanghai and true to form, there’s a big one coming in over Taiwan this weekend. In grudging respect to expected 145 mph winds and rain, the Zebra Festival on Jinshan beach that was meant to start today has been postponed until next weekend.
Our hearts go out to the organizers who would have already finished the venue build, have done the marketing and would have been welcoming the bands last night. Festivals can be a cruel game – let’s hope next weekend can be a success.
