- Midi have had to move from Haidian Park to ShunYi Olympic Park despite having announced Haidian as the venue. More Beijing complications
- China Music Valley have booked the legendary Jesus and Mary Chain (to play alongside Nicki Minaj, Joss Stone and Friendly Fires. Also rumours of My Chemical Romance, but these are less credible.
- Leonard Cohen to China in November (not festival goss – just an April Fool’s joke)
