So, it’s that time of year again. Beijing runs outside in between sandstorms and searing heat, and frolics in various parks around the metropolis.  Chengdu gets the second installment of the Zebra Festival (that festival that most certainly didn’t have 150,000 people attending in 2009) and have announced their lineup on Douban HERE. No big surprises, foreign representation from a couple of smaller bands including the British rave-rock band, Does It Offend You Yeah? and Shanghai’s favorite Danish band Reptile Retard, and the headliner being Taiwan’s favorite sons and daughters, Sodagreen.  You can check out an English version of the official site HERE, with little to no information currently.

Midi Festival is happening again in Haidian Park in Beijing.  No lineup as yet, English site HERE.

Modern Sky’s own Strawberry festival will be happening again at Tongzhou Canal Park and you can check out the poster below. Word on the street is that Xiu Xiu, who cancelled Strawberry 2009 and Radio 4, who were ousted from the Modern Sky bill in 2009 will be the main foreign artists. More to come…
