Festival Rumours…

Published by admin at 3:35 am under China Music Festivals

OK, so silly season is upon us once more.  It seems like only yesterday that we were debating the number of festivals that would actually happen during October week.

Well, this blog has heard on the infamous grapevine that there are plenty to look forward to.

  1. A new venture that will happen across the 3 days of the May holiday featuring at least 15 international bands at the Shanghai Sculpture Space.
  2. Another new venture over the same three days in Chengdu that will be called the Zebra Festival and boasts, well, a lot.
  3. Finally, a new folk festival for Beijing during the May holiday.  We’ve been asked not to reveal the name or the location, but it sounds pretty amazing and will happen at a park a long, long way from Tian’an’men…

And finally, Emma Ticketmaster are promising something pretty huge for later in the year.  Watch this space for more…
