There’s been something called Kama floating around recently. Someone released the web address a few weeks back and lots of people went and accessed a half built site, but now, KAMA have hit us with a fully functioning site, replete with international and national artists including Cowboy Junkies, These New Puritans et al.
You can see the KAMA’s Love Festival vibe here and the old one here. It’s going to be at the Asian Games Arena in Beijing and in Mao Livehouse in Shanghai, for some multi artist, single venue biz-ness.
In other news, Ditan Folk Festival is back for its third year and Beijing Daze gives it some mad love (better than we could having never been), while Midi Shanghai seems to be full speed ahead in Century Park. MIDI are also supporting a very good cause which you should check out here.
