Hold fire Gaga-lovers. We know we rumoured that Lady Gaga was due to hit Beijing in April (HERE). Well…. we are sorry.
We’ve just heard that Lady Gaga is off before licenses were even applied for. Her production is just too big for China – it would have been incredibly difficult to get the stage approved for that kind of production and Lady Gaga was unwilling to compromise on the production. We can’t believe that her LED screen would have been bigger than Beyonce’s, but what do we know?
For those of you in mourning, don’t worry. You can go and see HK’s own Lady Gaga at Gongti tomorrow night, Karen Mok. You can still buy tickets HERE.

How are we all going to know which outrageous costumes to wear?
Number one, until there are more than one or two arenas that can accomadate this kind of show, flying an entire airplane or two of gear in just isn’t in reality…..need a circuit of places to play to make it work around here……really only one arena in China could have done this show proper……
Number two, sometimes a few compromises need to be made to fit the local laws….China is one of those places…..won’t even compromise a teeny tiny element?…then simply don’t come
Nooooo! This is such a disappointment. I completely understand, but am so bummed. Hopefully she can make it in the future, as there is a HUGE Lady Gaga following here!
